Can the American Public Absorb the 110 page Economic Stabilization Act of 2008?

===

A fox had stolen into the house of an actor, and in rummaging among his various properties, laid hold of a highly-finished Mask. “A fine-looking head, indeed!” credit he; “what a pity it is that it wants brains !”

Moral: A fair outside is but a poor substitute for inward worth.

If the conscience of our elected leaders believe the Stabilization Act of 2008 will
increase platform accountability and will help ensure the long term protection of the united collective good, which includes not only the platform but the public that relies upon it for growth, livelihoods and retirements, then a goal of democracy is being promoted. If its the beginning of a bad habit expression of a “middle measure” that meddles, then the durability of the American people’s Will may be better than the Show.
