Eating Healthy
Thursday, August 27th, 2009For the most part I have always eaten whats in front of me.
To me, eating healthy means having meals that include produce from local farms. Such as, plum tomatoes, primetime tomatoes, supersonic tomatoes, jet star tomatoes, early girl tomatoes, green beans, lettuce, asparagus, zucchini, cucumbers, beets, boyton bell peppers, costa rica red sweet peppers, barely hot chile peppers, stoked peppers, california wonder bell peppers, gypsy peppers, flamingo peppers, eggplant, squash, herbs, cucumbers lima beans, beans, winter squash waltham butternut and beans, corn, zucchini, potatoes. Add some herbs such as chives, curled parsley, dill, cilantro/coriander, basil, italian, and flat leave parsley.
Dessert includes watermelon, cantaloupe, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, apples, plums, and pears.
Yum. And if someone else prepares it all, even better. Thanks Deb.
